An Achievement-Oriented CV

The answers to the first three questions in self-analysis - (what is my experience, what are my skills, what have I achieved?) can be found by looking closely at the jobs you have done in the past, since our skills develop out of our experiences. In turn, achievements are what we get as a result of utilising our skills, and they are evidence we can present to potential employers.

In fact, prospective employers are really only interested in two questions: Why did you leave your last job and what can you contribute to this firm? To answer the last question you need to draw up at least three achievements for every job that you have had so far. For some of your previous jobs you may have many more than three and these will provide you with the basis for your C.V. and a portfolio of achievements.
